Travis Flasschoen

Services for Travis Alan Flasschoen, 41, who died Thursday in an auto accident not far from his Florence home, will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Peabody.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

He was born Nov. 18, 1982, in Newton to Jaymes Lee Flasschoen and Cyndi Dee (Newfield) Easterberg.

A 2001 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School, he worked at Artisan Fabrication in Springfield, Missouri, until his health made it impossible for him to work.

He married Sarah (Dunfield) McAuley on Feb. 1, 2022. They have a young son, Trip Flasschoen.

Both survive along with mother Cyndi Easterberg of Peabody; grandmother Jean Schroeder of Peabody; and siblings Chad Flasschoen of Wichita, Deidra Wallin of Ider, Alabama, and Anna Crichton of Sarina, Australia.

His father and grandfather Rudy Newfield preceded him in death.

Contributions for funeral expenses are being accepted.
