Raffle to repair roofs

A charcoal grill from Hatton Hometown Hardware and a $100 gift certificate from Peabody Sausage House will be raffled off at 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Peabody Main Street Association’s free ice cream social.

Tables and chairs will be set up and vanilla ice cream with a variety of toppings will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. outside Little Off the Top.

A farmers market meal and music will be provided by Sunflower Theatre, and then stick around for ice cream and some music.

Raffle tickets cost $5 each or five for $20 and are available at the hardware and sausage stores in addition to Main Street Association board members.

Money raised will help pay for emergency roof replacement on two downtown buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
