Theft
A transmission and a copper radiator, together valued at $2,000, were reported stolen between Oct. 21 and 4:20 p.m. Nov. 4 from Dennis D. Twombly’s residence near 20th and Mustang Rd.
Deputy Kaylan Miles’s report cited no signs of forced entry.
HILLSBORO
Criminal damage
An estimated $100 in damage was done to a driver’s side door handle on a van owned by Barbara J. Davis, 69, when someone apparently attempted to pull the locked door open between 1 p.m. Friday and 7:30 p.m. Saturday while the van was parked outside Davis’s residence at Main Street Ministries in Hillsboro.
Criminal damage, trespassing
Lance L. Carter, 30, Hesston, reported that a window and a storm door at a rental home he owns in the 100 block of N. Adams St. sustained damage estimated at $500 between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. Friday when an evicted tenant attempted to re-enter the house.
The case has been referred to the county attorney for possible charges.
Criminal damage
A doorknob on a duplex rented by Mesa S. Merrell, 24, in the 300 block of N. Washington St. sustained damage estimated at $70 during what, according to monitored transmissions, might have been an attempted break-in at 9:41 p.m. Friday.
