Government spending

To the editor:

My theory is that the only difference among city, county, state, and federal governments is simply a matter of scale. Otherwise, they all operate about the same.

As far as being duped, the gold medal for 2022 has to go to the county for purchase of the old salon.

Instead of graciously taking a white elephant off someone’s hands, perhaps in the future it would be wise to purchase an option to buy, pay for an evaluation of the facility, and then decide whether to purchase the facility.
