Esther Wiebe

Services for Esther Wiebe, 96, who died Thursday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

Paul Wiebe will officiate. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born July 5, 1928, in Ootycummand, India, to John and Viola (Bergtholv) Wiebe, she was preceded in death by sister Ruth Friesen.

Survivors include daughters Shiela Wiebe of Kansas City; Kavitha Wiebe of Falls Church, Virginia; and Melanie Wiebe of Wichita; brothers John, David, and Paul; and sisters Irene Janzen and Marilyn Dodge.

Memorials have been established with Mennonite Brethren Missions and International Ministries.
