A charge of domestic battery filed against Jeremy J. Friesen was dismissed Aug. 23.

Spencer K. Hemmert was sentenced Aug. 10 to a year’s probation and ordered to pay $908 for driving under the influence.

Sherri L. Porterfield formally was charged Sept. 1 with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, traffic of contraband in a correctional facility, and driving under the influence, with no proof of insurance and with without valid registration.

Laramie J. Siebert’s probation for circumvention of an ignition Interlock device and failure to give notice of change of address was revoked Aug. 23. On the same day, he pleaded no contest to driving under the influence in a separate case. An additional charge of circumvention of an ignition interlock device and a charge of transporting an open container of alcohol were dismissed. He was ordered to obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 15.

Donald D. Solomon was ordered Sept. 1 to undergo an evaluation to determine his competency to stand trial on charges of interference with law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

Bobby I. Shanks pleaded no contest Aug. 25 to possession of marijuana. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding were dismissed. He was sentenced to six months’ probation and ordered to pay $218.

Nathan R. Walker’s 2010 conviction for voluntary sexual intercourse with a child was expunged Sept. 1.
