NEW ARRESTS

Dominic J. Bartel, 20, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of violating offender registration. Held in lieu of posting a $100,000 bond. Previously jailed Jan. 4 to March 2 on suspicion of aggravated assault, battery, domestic battery, and making a criminal threat.

Travis W. Gaston, 56, Peabody, arrested Friday by Peabody police on suspicion of possessing stolen property, driving an unregistered vehicle while his license was suspended, and failing to signal a stop or turn. He was released 2½ days later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Alan C. Hassenplug, 42, Marion, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing stimulants and marijuana and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released 30 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Julie N. Matthews, 46, Hesston, arrested Monday by Marion police on suspicion of driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock. Released nine hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Johnathan C. Prebble, 23, Lincolnville, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation twice. Held in lieu of posting $10,000 in bonds. Previously jailed May 5 to June 6 on suspicion of domestic battery and child endangerment; Feb. 8 to 10, 2025, on suspicion of aggravated assault, aggravated child endangerment, criminal use of weapons, disorderly conduct, and failure to have vehicle liability insurance; and Dec. 15 and 16, 2024, for failing to appear in court.

William K. Sedille, 54, Hillsboro, arrested July 7 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving without a valid license. Released 25½ hours later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 16, 2020, on suspicion of driving without a valid license, without liability insurance, and with unlawful registration.
