NEW ARRESTS

Jouanna S. Cain, 33, Florence, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating her probation. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of all or part of 30 days between April 28, 2023, and March 6, 2025. Previous jailings were on court orders three times, for allegedly violating her probation once before,, for failing to appear in court three times, and on suspicion of felony cruelty to animals, theft by deception, and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Holly R. Hamm, 41, Hillsboro, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stolen property and violating her probation. Held in lieu of posting $7,500 in bonds. Previously jailed March 14 to 29, also on suspicion of possessing stolen property; Nov. 11 to Dec. 13, 2023, for contempt of court; and Oct. 16 to Nov. 3, 2023, on suspicion of burglary and criminal trespassing.

Dustin D. Rodgers, 49, Hillsboro, arrested April 2 by Peabody police for allegedly violating his probation twice. Held in lieu of posting $12,500 in bonds. Previously jailed nine times for a total of all or part of 190 days between May 5, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders once, for failing to appear in court seven times, for allegedly violating his probation once before, and on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia twice, driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock once, displaying a vehicle license plate other than the one assigned once, failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance twice, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Michael W. Sigel, 52, Marion, jailed Thursday for 48 hours on court orders. Jail records list Sigel as being jailed without interruption from Feb. 10. However, court records indicate 10 separate 48-hour jailings starting that date and continuing through Saturday.

Michelle L. Stevens, 37, Peabody, arrested April 2 by Peabody police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and an unknown controlled substance. Released 42 hours later after posting $10,000 in cash bail. Previously jailed July 11, 2022, on suspicion of distributing depressants, unlawfully obtaining a prescription drug, and possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an unknown controlled substance.

Eric J. Williams, 37, Marion, jailed April 1 for seven days on court orders. Previously jailed 26 times for a total of all or part of 223 days between Dec. 21, 2017, and Aug. 20, 2024. Previous jailings on court orders three times; for contempt of court three times; for bond revocation once; for allegedly violating his parole twice; for being held for the Kansas Department of Corrections once; for allegedly violating his probation three times; for failing to appear in court 17 times; and on suspicion of domestic battery; fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement; possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked; driving without a valid license; burglary; and felony criminal damage to property.
