These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

350th Rd. west of Quail Creek Rd.

Driving too fast for conditions and inattentively, Andrew V. Madron, 19, Ramona, lost control of his 2009 Ford Focus at 9:20 a.m. Aug. 16, rolling it onto its top in a ditch, according to one of three accident reports released Friday by the sheriff’s office.

Deputy Bruce Burke’s report lists the Ford as destroyed with damage to its entire front half, top, undercarriage, and windshield.

No tickets were listed as being issued.

Indigo Rd. south of 150th Rd.

Kevin D. Klein, 55, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 9:03 p.m. Aug. 16 with his 2011 Toyota Camry.

The car, in which Kathy L. Klein, 57, of the same address was riding, remained drivable with damage to its hood and entire left side.

US-56/77 north of 250th Rd.

Karesha M. Burgess, 36, Herington, hit a deer at 4:27 a.m. Aug. 18 with her 2023 Kia Sportage.

The sport-utility vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage and was towed.

Jax Burgess, 13, of the same address, and Bruce E. Mittelstadt, 57, and Sandra L. Wilson, 56, whose addresses were not reported, were passengers.

HILLSBORO

Main St. north of D. St.

Stephanie N. Jacobson, 39, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after she turned her 2015 Acura MDX left from D St. onto Main St. at 12:46 a.m. Saturday, drove over a curb, and hit a city utility pole.

She reportedly declined to submit to alcohol testing. The wreck was witnessed by a person living nearby.

Jacobsen posed a $2,500 bond and was released from jail 1½ hours after her booking.

Her car sustained disabling damage to three tires and its left front and hood and was towed.
