REPORTED

These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-50 west of 110th Rd.

Three vehicles had to be towed after two of them collided at 9:39 p.m. July 19 while one attempted to pass and the third drove into the debris of the accident.

Kari E. Johnstone, 56, Farmerville, Louisiana, was attempting to pass a semi in a 2016 Ford Focus owned by the federal government.

The Ford hit an approaching 2007 Chevy Impala owned and driven by Isaac A. Williams, 20, Junction City. Hunter W. Spencer, 30, Florence, then drove his 2011 Ford F-150 into the debris. Deputy Joshua Meliza’s report blamed the accident on following too closely by Williams, evasive action by both Johnstone and Williams, and inattentive driving by Spencer. No citations were written.

K-15 north of 80th Rd.

Darius R. Ford, 24, Addison, Texas, did minor damage to his 2016 Hyundai Accent at 10:30 a.m. July 20 when he drove at over a ladder that had fallen off a 2008 Ford F350 owned by A-Z Tree Service, Canton, and driven by Tyler K. Kershner, 46, Canton.

US- 56 south of K-15

Sherrie S. Mosley-Dyer, 54, Valley Center, reported possible injury at 11:45 p.m. July 23 when she turned her 2007 Nissan Altima in front of an oncoming 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by James Wullenweber, 37, Hillsboro. Neither Wullenweber nor Mia L. Straub, 31, Hillsboro, a passenger in the Impala, reported injury. Mosley-Dyer reportedly was driven by private vehicle to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Although Sergeant Travis Wilson’s report blamed the accident on improper turning, no citation was issued.
