2 Trojans unanimous all-league picks

Two Trojans were unanimous first-team selections for this season’s all-league team in the Central Kansas League.

Junior Zaylee Werth was a unanimous selection for the girls team, and senior Brekyn Ratzlaff was a unanimous selection for the boys team.

Joining Werth on the girls first team was fellow junior Savannah Shahan. Senior Kori Arnold and freshman Kingzley Ratzlaff received honorable mention.

Senior Tyson Plenert received honorable mention on the boys team.

Marion junior named to 2nd team

Junior Grace Hett, who tied Marion’s school record with 6 three-pointers in a game and set season records with 49 three-pointers and a 38% three-point shooting percentage, was named to the second team for the Heart of America league.

Junior Jack Lanning was an honorable mention for the boys all-league team.
