Young farmers program accepting applications

Kansas Corn Corps is accepting applications for a class designed to teach farming strategies to young farmers.

Young farmers selected to participate in the Kansas Corn Corps will gain knowledge of strategies they can use in their farming operations.

Sessions will be held in winter months over a 16-month time frame and will include a domestic agriculture trip.

To participate, farmers must be actively involved in a Kansas corn farming operation. Participants must be 45 or younger, and both men and women are encouraged to apply. More information is available by calling (785) 448-6922 or by emailing smayo@ksgrains.
