Wanda Waner

Services for Wanda Lee Waner, 91, who died July 14 at a nursing home in El Paso, Texas, will be 1 p.m. today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Florence.

Relatives will gather with friends from noon to 1 p.m. Rosary will be at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Florence.

Born Aug. 11, 1930, in Holdenville, Oklahome, to Chris W. and Lillie (Hair) Haviland, she married to George Waner of Florence on Aug. 14, 1949, and the couple moved to Junction City

Survivors include son Andrew M. Waner of El Paso, daughter Teresa DeKoter of Perry, Iowa, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Husband George and sons James and Kenneth preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
