Surveyor M. Troy Moore, 57, died Jan. 16 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Born Aug. 4, 1959, to Charles Honeyman and Shirley Moore in Olathe, he graduated from Peabody-Burns school system in 1977, and pursued a career as a land surveyor.

He was a multi-sport athlete in high school, later played and coached softball, and engaged in golf, pool, and fishing.

He is survived by companion Julie Brosemer; children Ali Moore and Alex Moore; siblings Mike, Mark, Jeffrey, Jerome, and Kelly Stephenson; father Chuck Honeyman; and four grandchildren.

A private family graveside committal will be held a later date.
