Three individuals were jailed on drug-related charges Friday night, the culmination of a nearly eight-month investigation by Peabody police.
Peabody officers, assisted by Marion police, Marion County Sheriff’s officers, and Peabody EMS personnel, executed a search warrant at 710 N. Locust St. in Peabody.
Robert Mitchum, Danny Mitchum, and Linda Bourland, all of Peabody, were arrested. Each was charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances — marijuana and methamphetamines, possession with intent to sell or distribute controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Cash and illegal narcotics were seized by law enforcement.
“All three individuals were booked into Marion County Jail,” Peabody police chief Bruce Burke said. “This has been an ongoing investigation since April.”
