New driver’s license requirements were explained by County Treasurer Jeannine Bateman and Julia Ensminger from her office during a presentation June 6 at the senior center.

A free class on balance, taught by Gayla Ratzlaff, will begin at 10:30 a.m. June 21 instead of Thursday, as previously reported.

As reported last week, this Thursday is when Wanda Williams will present a program of piano selections.

A group of former Marion High School students who call themselves the Lunch Bunch dined at the center June 5. The group has chosen to come in June and in July on days when lasagna is served.

Another volunteer to help out in the kitchen a couple of days a week is needed now that Eva Smith is no longer filling that role.
