Seniors who frequent the center have had access to fresh produce this summer. Cathy Henderson recently brought in tomatoes and cucumbers. Keith Allison’s daughter, Jackie Osborne, brought tomatoes from Missouri.

Jean Pierce brought treats Aug. 17 for her birthday.

The center’s fourth makeup meal, served Aug. 18, was a brunch.

Marion Assisted Living residents and the Lutheran Church lunch bunch visited Aug. 22 on Senior Center Day. President Sue Clough conducted a business meeting. Sale of a pool table and carpet cleaning were discussed.

The center will be closed Labor Day. The program on Sept. 5 has yet to be determined.

Enrollment forms are available for a strength training class to begin Sept. 10. Registration is due Sept. 4.
