Marion Senior Center

The senior center was part of the evacuation during the grain elevator fire Jan. 7. The center delivered meals on wheels, but did not serve meals in the building. A television reporter interviewed cook Barb Bitner.

The center had cake Jan. 8 in celebration of Elvis Presley’s birthday.

An exercise class led by St. Luke Hospital physical therapists met Jan. 8. The public is welcome to attend classes at 11 a.m. Fridays.

Norma Kline brought homemade cookies Jan. 11 for her birthday.

Bonnie Sawyer of Marion Assisted Living will give a program Jan. 27.

Chris Hernandez is scheduled to speak Feb. 10.
