Ron Druse

Private burial of the cremation urn of Ronald “Ron” Dene Druse, 83, will occur later. He passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at his home in Topeka.

Ron was born March 13, 1943, in Hillsboro, to Charles and Palma (Young) Druse.

He married Judith “Judy” Ann Hunt on March 26, 1973, in Gladstone, Missouri. She survives in the home.

Ron taught carpentry at Centre High School in Lost Springs. His students may remember building a houseboat. He taught Certificate of Training World of Work at Chanute High School.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Bob, Tom, and twin Don. He is survived by sister-in-law Karen; cousin Peg; nieces and nephews Cindy, Bud, Janet, Anita, Richard, Marie, Melanie, Lori, Richie, and Ryan; and many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
