Peabody city clerk Stephanie Lago will be honored at a retirement reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 30 in the council room at Peabody City Hall.

Lago is retiring from city employment after 17 years in the front office.

Lago has served as city treasurer, city clerk, receptionist, keeper of city pet tag records, hostess and tour guide to visitors, city newsletter writer, and even the person who knows the time and temperature for those odd folks who call to inquire.

Mayor Larry Larsen and city council members invite the community to attend.
