Ramona election

To the editor:

It is wonderful to see all the interest expressed in our governing body in Ramona for mayor and council members.

In addition to those who have filed, several write-in candidates have consented to serve. They are Edith Connie Smith for mayor and Brendan Douglas Bailey, Jeanette Goza, and Mary Margaret Metz for council.

Write-in votes have to be done correctly to count, with their names spelled exactly as listed above and the oval next to them darkened.

Please, everyone, get out and vote on Nov. 7. This is your opportunity to vote and for your vote to count. If you do not vote, you don’t have a say in who is elected. All votes matter, so please take time and do yourself and governing bodies justice by voting and exercising your rights as a registered voter and citizen.
