Praising volunteers

To the editor:

Today we experienced a well planned, efficiently executed program to administer to senior residents of Marion County their COVID-19 vaccine at
Tabor College.

A crew outside in 10 degree weather directed parking, and we were greeted inside the door, and assisted to the area we needed to go. At this point, in a matter of less than seven minutes, the paperwork was completed; we had our shots, and were escorted to the area to be observed for 15 minutes. The volunteers should and need to be commended for all they are doing for our community.

“Thank you” is hardly enough to tell these folks who are not only doing their job, but are our friends and perhaps may be exposing themselves to the COVID virus while helping us.

Marion County residents, we are blessed for this extraordinary care and we need to express our appreciation for everyone’s efforts.
