Oct. 10 — A traffic complaint at Tabor College was investigated.

Oct. 11 — Citations for speeding and no proof of insurance and a warning for an equipment violation were issued. A complaint of a dog in a vacant house in the 100 block of S. Birch St was investigated.

Oct. 12— An alarm at Dollar General, non-injury accident in the 100 block of N Main St., and out-of control juvenile were investigated. A bullying complaint on a school bus was investigated. Warnings for an equipment violation and speeding were issued.

Thursday — A parking complaint in the 300 block of Kennedy St., stolen vehicle complaint, and non-jury accident were investigated. A warning for speeding was issued.

Friday — A misuse of 911 was investigated.

Saturday — A dog at large and a theft were investigated.

Sunday — A theft was investigated.

Oct. 10 — Two reports of an out-of-control juvenile at Oasis were investigated. A warning for a headlamp out in the 100 block of N. Thorp St. was issued.

Oct. 11 — A dog at large in the 100 block of N. Freeborn St. was investigated; owner was contacted. Damage to a city vehicle caused by a fallen limb was reported. Suspicious activity at Freeborn and Main Sts. was investigated. A warning for speeding on US-56 was issued. Harassing phone calls were investigated. A landscaping business was spoken to about blowing yard debris in the roadway, and another business owner was spoken to about obstructed view at an intersection.

Oct. 12 — Two reports of an out-of-control juvenile at Oasis were investigated. Stranded motorists were checked in the 1000 block of Industrial Rd.

Thursday — Two reports of an out-of-control juvenile at Oasis were investigated.

Friday — A speeding citation near US-56 and Remington Rd. was issued.

Saturday — A report of a juvenile riding an ATV in the roadway in the 500 block of N. Freeborn St. was investigated; juvenile put ATV away prior to officer’s arrival. Dogs at large in the 200 block of S. Lincoln St. were investigated; owner was contacted and picked up dogs prior to officer’s arrival. A report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Elm St. was investigated. Warnings for speeding, a headlamp out, tag light out, passing where prohibited on US-56, and a citation for speeding were issued. A report of reckless driving on Main St. was investigated.

Sunday — A citation for speeding on K-150 and a warning for speeding on US-56 were issued.

Oct. 11 — Officers opened an investigation into an incident of alleged abuse and neglect of a dependent adult. Included in the investigation is an alleged charge of suspicious death, which did not occur in Peabody. Chief Burke declined to provide additional information.

A second case, unrelated to the first, of alleged abuse and neglect of a dependent adult was investigated and determined to be unsubstantiated. The investigation was closed.

A cell phone was found and turned in to police. It has been claimed by its owner.

Thursday — A report was taken of a missing juvenile who did not return home after school. The child was located with an older sibling and returned home.

Friday — Officers wrote a report on an individual known to be on probation, but observed under the influence. The report was turned over to the probation officer.
