Oct. 2 — A harassment complaint in the 400 block of S. Ash St., two men arguing at Third and Cedar Sts., and several curfew violations at Memorial Park and the sports complex were investigated.

Oct. 3 — A fraud complaint in the 500 block of E. D St., theft in the 200 block of W. D St., and dog complaints in the 100 block of S. Date St. and 400 block of S. Main St. were investigated.

Oct. 4 — A noise complaint in the 100 block of S. Ash St., suspicious activity in the 600 block of E. D St., and trespass complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St. were investigated. A criminal damage to property complaint in the 300 block of S. Main St. was investigated.

Oct. 5 — Suspicious activity at Cedar and Grand Sts., a parking complaint at Washington and D Sts., and a report of a package missing from a porch in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. were investigated.

Thursday — A trespass complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St. and a parking complaint in the 300 block of S. Lincoln St. were investigated.

Friday — A report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of S. Adams St was investigated; the vehicle was located in the 500 block of E. D St. Police said the owner reported that she must have forgotten she left it there, and that the car was not stolen.

Saturday — A dog at large at Main and D Sts. was investigated.

Oct. 3 — A suspect vehicle from a hit-and-run accident was located. A suspicious person in the 1000 block of Industrial Rd. was investigated.

Oct. 5 — A report of a gas drive-off was investigated. A traffic stop was conducted at US-56 and Remington Rd.; no outcome was logged.

Thursday — A dog at large in the 700 block of Hudson St. was investigated. A report of a protection from abuse violation in the 400 block of S. Freeborn St. was investigated; suspect was served with a protection from abuse order and escorted off the property. Six warnings were issued on US-56; reasons for stops were not logged.

Friday — A warning for failure to yield in a school zone was issued. A report of a possible break-in in the 400 block of N. Freeborn St. was investigated. A black and white dog at large evaded capture. A report of a reckless driver in the 800 block of N. Roosevelt St. was investigated.

Saturday — A car alarm in the 400 block of S. Third St. was investigated. A report of a missing elderly person was investigated; person was located by family prior to officer’s arrival. Drug paraphernalia was found in the 1000 block of E. Main St.

Sunday — A report of illegal burning in the 300 block of S. Coble St. was investigated; owner was advised to put it out. Two dogs at large were taken to Animal Health Center.

Oct. 3 — A trespassing complaint was filed, investigated, and closed. Record requests were provided for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and military.

Oct. 5 — A battery incident occurred between two juveniles on the way to school. The incident is being handled by the school.

Friday — A second battery incident occurred between two juveniles on the way to school and is being handled by the school. The individuals involved are not the same as in the previous incident.

Saturday — Police responded to a non-injury accident at the corner of Eighth and Vine Sts. No arrests were made. A checkbook found at Second and Locusts Sts. was turned in to police. Officers assisted with an individual who was suicidal, transporting him to Newton Medical Center for medical and mental evaluation.

Sunday — Police took a report of a residential burglary.
