June 12 — A report of a possible violation of an order of protection from abuse was investigated in the 900 block of E. D St. A dog-at-large complaint was investigated in the 300 block of S. Wilson St.

June 13 — A report of people selling door-to-door without a permit was investigated.

June 14 — A dog-at-large complaint was investigated in the 200 block of S. Ash St.

June 15 — Police investigated a 911 disconnect in the 700 block of W. Grand St., a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of S. Date St., a commercial alarm in the 300 block of N. Ash St., and a dog at large in the 200 block of S. Ash St.

Thursday — A report of a possible identity theft was investigated in Hillsboro Heights; the victim did not want to fill out a report. Reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of W. D St. and suspicious person in the 200 block of S. Cedar St. were investigated, as was an argument over property in the 400 block of E. 1st St.

Friday — Suspicious activity was investigated in Industrial Park.

Saturday — A traffic complaint at 180th and Indigo Rd. and a child custody dispute in the 400 block of S. Ash St. were investigated. Officers also assisted with a lockout at city hall.

Marion

June 13 — Door-to-door salesmen were located and taken to Marion City Hall to obtain a permit application. A warning for a child safety restraint was issued on Cedar St. near US-56. Reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to wear seatbelt citations were issued.

June 14 — A speeding warning was issued.

June 15 — A stray dog was dropped off at Animal Health Center. Three warnings were issued for speeding. A foot patrol of downtown businesses was conducted.

Thursday — Two speeding warnings were issued on 3rd St. near the grain elevator. An attempt to serve an arrest warrant in the 400 block of S. 4th St. was unsuccessful.

Friday — Commercial alarms in the 1000 block of Batt St. and the 1000 block of E. Main St. were investigated. A welfare check was performed in the 200 block of Tanglewood St. A foot patrol of downtown businesses was conducted.

Saturday — A report of criminal damage to property was investigated in the 300 block of S. Roosevelt St. A warning for a headlamp out was issued.

Sunday — A welfare check was performed in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St.

June 14 — Police investigated a noninjury accident at 510 N. Locust St. A gas meter was run over.

June 15 — An attempted burglary at a residence was investigated.

Thursday — Police took a report that a wood splitter was stolen. It has since been recovered and returned to the owner.

Police took two reports about theft of cell phones. The first phone was recovered and returned to the owner. The second is still missing.
