Hillsboro

Jan. 19 — Four non-injury accidents and one injury accident were investigated. Traffic enforcement for an equipment violation was performed.

Jan. 20 — Two roll over accidents and a fire at Tabor College were investigated. Traffic enforcement was performed for equipment violations, and failure to use headlights. Lost property was returned to its owner.

Thursday — A report of a reckless driver was investigated on US-56.

Friday — A non-injury accident was investigated. A stolen vehicle from Salina was attempted to be located.

Saturday — Traffic enforcement for passing in a no passing zone was performed.

Sunday — Complaints of a dog at large and trespassing were investigated. Traffic enforcement for speeding was performed.

Jan. 18 — Verbal warnings for speeding over the posted limit and a tail lamp out were issued. An abandoned vehicle at Cedar St. and US-56, a report of a door-to-door salesperson, and a 911 disconnect were investigated.

Jan. 19— A report of a dog-at-large was investigated.

Jan. 20 — A report of a dog-at-large was investigated.

Thursday — Two dogs-at-large were located and their owners were contacted. A report of suspicious activity near a mailbox was investigated. A verbal warning for a brake and turn signal light that was out was issued.

Friday — A report of an unattached trailer was investigated and the owner was asked to move it. A verbal warning was issued for an improper J-turn. Two citations for speeding were issued. Verbal warnings were issued for no tag light, failure to dim headlights, and speeding. A commercial alarm was investigated.

Saturday — Three citations for speeding were issued. Verbal warnings were issued for speeding and no turn signal due to vehicle damage.

Saturday — James Lucas of Wichita was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
