Marion

Oct. 28 – A loose dog was reported, which was retrieved by its owner.

Oct. 29 – An owner received a citation for a loose dog in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St., and a report of a possible neglected dog near Washington and 1st Sts. proved unfounded.

Oct. 30 – A person was warned for trespassing in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., and a motorist received a citation for expired registration in the 600 block of S. Roosevelt St.

Thursday – A false alarm was investigated in the 1200 block of E. Main St. Motorists were warned for expired registration in the 1200 block of E. Main St., and for speeding near 4th and Main Sts.

Friday – A criminal damage to property report was investigated in the 200 block of Grant St.

Saturday – A motorist was warned for no tag light on US-56.

Sunday – Violation of protection order was reported, and traffic control was provided for a fire near the tree dump.

Oct. 29 – A person was warned for trespassing in the 600 block of N. Poplar St.

Oct. 30 – A verbal disturbance was reported at Westview Manor, but no further action was taken.

Friday – A battery incident was reported at Westview, but no action was taken because of the residents’ mental states.
