ACTIVITY REPORTS
Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.
hillsboro
March 26 — A suspicious vehicle on Willow Rd. was checked and traffic citations were issued for no proof of insurance, no trailer lights, following too closely, and having a faulty headlight..
March 27 — A parking complaint in the 300 block of N. Birch St. was investigated, and a motorist was assisted.
March 28 — An odor of marijuana in the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. and a parking complaint at Wilson and A Sts. were investigated. A speeding ticket was issued.
Thursday — A citation was issued for dogs running free in the 300 block of N. Main St.
Friday — Police intervened in a neighborhood dispute in the 300 block of S. Washington St., warned children riding bikes in an alleyway, investigated a brush fire east of town, and cited a motorist for driving left of center.
Saturday — A report of a dog running free was investigated, and two motorists were ticketed for equipment violations.
Sunday — Officers issued two speeding tickets and notified CenturyLink of a citywide Internet outage.

March 26 — A theft in the 300 block of N. Vine St. was investigated.
March 27 — Police took a report of tires being dumped at a residential property.
March 29 — Police arrested Emily Caldwell, 35, of Peabody on suspicion of attempting to steal a vehicle and filed a complaint with the city prosecutor about an inoperable vehicle nuisance in the 100 block of N. Vine St.
March 30 — Joshua Chase, 27, of Peabody was arrested on a municipal court warrant alleging failure to appear in court. A theft in the 600 block of E. 2nd St. was investigated.
April 1 — Cameron Finnesy, 36, of Newton was arrested on a municipal court warrant and on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
