Jan. 21 — Officers investigated a dog complaint at Wilson and 1st Sts. and an alarm in the 500 block of E. Grand St. Officers responded to a curfew violation in Memorial Park and assisted a motorist in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St.

Jan. 22 — Officers assisted sheriff’s deputies with a commercial alarm.

Jan. 23 — Officers investigated a verbal domestic disturbance in the 400 block of E. 1st St., a traffic complaint on N. Adams St., and suspicious items in a ditch along Indigo Rd., and performed a civil standby for a property dispute.

Jan. 24 — Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 900 block of S. Ash St. and a minor traffic accident in the 300 block of N. Jefferson St.

Thursday — Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of S. Date St. and assisted outside jurisdictions with a sexting case.

Friday — Officers investigated reports of an employer withholding a paycheck from an employee, a suspicious person, and a leaf fire at Tabor College.

Saturday — Officers checked on suspicious activity at the city shop and assisted the fire department with a grass and camper fire in the 100 block of N. Madison St.

Jan. 14 — Officers performed traffic stops, issuing two citations for speeding and oral warnings for improper passing and no left side mirror. A vehicle parked on a street was tagged for no registration, and a dog at large was picked up in the 400 block of Forest St.

Jan. 15 — Officers investigated a dog complaint on S. Freeborn St.

Jan. 17 — Officers issued an oral warning for a vehicle with faulty taillights in the 100 block of S. Third St.

Jan. 18 — Officers assisted Peabody police with traffic control for an apartment complex fire in Peabody. An oral warning was issued for failure to yield in the 200 block of N. 4th St.

Jan. 19 — Officers issued an oral warning for a defective headlight.

Jan. 20 — Officers investigated a property dispute that the involved parties resolved without intervention. Oral warnings were given for a defective headlight at 3rd and Main Sts. and speeding at Cedar and Main Sts. Officers intervened in a disturbance in the 600 block of S. Cedar St.

Jan. 21 — Officers investigated a report of theft in the 200 block of S. Freeborn St. and conducted a traffic stop at US-56 and Industrial Rd.

Jan. 22 — Officers investigated a report of stolen property, found the property, and determined no theft had taken place. Officers responded to a residential alarm in the 700 block of S. Freeborn St., clearing and securing the house. A welfare check was conducted in the 400 block of N. 2nd St. Officers assisted sheriff’s deputies with a dump truck that slid off the road at the US-56/77/K-150 roundabout.

Jan. 23 — Officers investigated a possible violation of a protection from abuse order and determined it had expired. A possible criminal threat was investigated, but the victim did not want to prosecute the violation. Officers investigated a report of an intoxicated individual in the 100 block of N. Coble St.

Thursday — Officers investigated a report of a possible no contact order violation at the food bank and issued an oral warning for a vehicle equipment violation at US-56 and Eisenhower Rd.

Friday — A dog at large was picked up and taken to Animal Health Center, and officers investigated a dog noise complaint in the 400 block of S. Coble St. An arrest warrant was served in the 100 block of N. Coble St.

Saturday — Officers issued an oral warning for failure to wear a seat belt and turn signal violation in the 1500 block of E. Main St.
