Hillsboro
September 17 — Officers provided a welfare check in the 200 block of E. First St. Police took a call from a subject with information regarding an active investigation.
September 18 — Police interviewed a witness for a forgery investigation. A subject reported a theft in which the money had already been returned. Officers received reports of a hitchhiker on US-56. They were unable to locate anyone. Police investigated a fire alarm on Willow Rd. Officers checked on suspicious activity at the water plant. Police cited a curfew violation in Memorial Park.
September 19 — Officers received a report from a subject about a protection from abuse violation. Police took a report of a physical altercation between two juveniles in the 200 block of N. Ash St.
September 20 — Police provided a welfare check in the 600 block of S. Ash St. Officers assisted a subject with a possible scam. Police assisted with a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 100 block of S. Jefferson St.
Thursday — Officers returned lost property to its owner. Police arrested a subject for driving under the influence. Police provided a welfare check in the 600 block of S. Ash St.
Friday — Police cited a curfew violation in Memorial Park. Officers took a report from a subject who had problems with an ATM machine.
Saturday — Officers followed up on a possible stalking complaint. Police took a report of a suspicious person at Hillsboro Community Hospital. Officers took a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of S. Main St.
