Marion Senior Center
Fifteen instrumental musicians were honored Oct. 20 at the annual Senior Citizens of Marion County at the senior center. Marion High School Singers performed, two guest speakers played mandolin and accordion, and Sue Clough and Keith Allison performed “Manana.”
Aulne United Methodist Church’s birthday group visited the center Oct. 13 to recognize birthdays of Verna Gervais, Linda Peterjohn, Joyce Olsen, and Margaret Cook.
Door prizes were given Oct. 13. Sue Clough, Jeff Christensen, Evelyn Jewett, Leland Albrecht, Jerry Nelson, Eugene Just, Evelyn Obermeyer, Rosalie Schmidtberger, and Irmagene Goodman won prizes.
Shirley Bowers had show and tell Oct. 13 and led the center in singing choruses.
Les Greenmeyer has signed up as a substitute meals delivery person.
Harvest House group visited Oct. 14.
