Randy and Judy (Strait) Mills of Florence will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 3.

They have owned and operated Doyle Creek Land and Cattle Company and have been residents of Florence for 47 years.

They met at Kansas State University in the spring of 1965 and were married Dec. 3, 1966 at First United Methodist Church in El Dorado.

They lived in Bloomington, Indiana from 1966 to 1969, where Randy was employed with Radio Company of America, and Judy was employed at Indiana University.

The Mills will celebrate their anniversary with their daughters, Mary Harper of Sedgwick and Sara Dawson of Cedar Point and their families, including four grandchildren.
