A theatrical troupe of Marion forensics students will compete in the 3A State Speech and Drama Championship tournament and Festival all day Saturday at Wichita East High School, 2301 E. Douglas Ave.

Marion’s improvised duet acting teams will be Nathan Baldwin and Grant Leffler, Jeremy Hett and Colin Williams, Austin Neufeld and Jarred Rahe, and Cassie Meyer and Kyle Pierce.

Duet acting teams are Haley Wattson and Charlie Nordquist, and Leffler and Hap Waddell.

Baldwin, Victoria Boyd, Luisa Junqueira, Samantha Kelsey, and Rahe will perform prose pieces.

Boyd and Kelsey also will perform in the solo serious acting event, while Williams will present a solo humorous acting selection.

Junqueira, Waddell, and Devin Hamm will perform poetry interpretations.

Larry Zieammermann will perform in informative speaking.
