Marion wrestlers finish 11th at Norton

Marion wrestlers finished 11th out of 16 teams, competing Friday and Saturday at a tournament in Norton.

Scott City was the overall winner.

Charlie Nordquist, a 200-pound senior, paced the Warriors, finishing second, losing twice in less than 24 hours to Norton’s Hayden Wilftong.

Todd Palic closed out Saturday with a fourth-place finish, Will Alleven was 2-2, and Luke Lanning finished 1-2.

The Warriors will compete Friday and Saturday in Halstead.
