Marion web site down several days

The City of Marion’s web site went down for several days before a city official was made aware of the problem.

City administrator Roger Holter said the site was operational again at 11 a.m. Monday after a customer told him of problems with the site.

He then emailed site manger Secure Server Hosting who corrected the problem.

Holter could not comment on the issue that caused the site to go down.

“We pay a firm to host and maintain our web site,” he said. “When we had an issue, we notified them and it’s back up.”
