Marion/Florence FFA participated in state FFA Career Development Events May 2 and 3 at Kansas State University.

Marion’s agricultural mechanical and technical systems team placed third overall, and all four team members placed in the top 10.

Agribusiness management team of Aiden Cairns, Cade Harms, Caleb Hett, and Carley Stapleford placed 13th with Harms placing in the silver division individually.

Elizabeth Meyer, Harms, Cairns, and Stapleford competed in the agricultural sales career development event and placed 15th.

Marion/Florence FFA chapter hosted approximately 60 elementary students from Marion and Hillsboro at FFA Ag Awareness Day Friday at the Warriors stadium.

Activities were conducted by 23 FFA members. The day involved different agricultural presentations.
