Marion Senior Center reluctantly said farewell April 16 to longtime dining room volunteer Rosalie Schmidtberger, her last day as a volunteer. Her retirement leaves openings for two volunteers.
Janet Bryant had a “big” birthday April 7. She was surprised by a visit from her daughters, Ann Carr and Jan Helmer, who brought cupcakes and stayed to eat with Bryant and company. Lanell Hett also decorated the center with signs and balloons.
The Aulne United Methodist birthday group joined us April 12 to celebrate the birthdays of Gary Grentz, Maryellen Stenzel, and Wanda Williams.
On April 26, the center will honor meal deliverers, dining room servers, piano players, reservation table attendants, and other volunteers who help keep the center running smoothly.
