Lincolnville Wide Awake

New officers were installed in the Lincolnville Wide Awake 4-H club on Oct. 2, 2016.

President is Rebecca Casey, vice president is Hayleigh Mendoza, secretary is Olivia Carlson, treasurer is Emily Casey, and reporter is Samantha Engler. A candle ceremony was conducted with each officer being sworn into office. Eleven members were present.

Roll call was, “Where do you go trick-or-treating for Halloween?”

Members received their money from their project entries at the Marion County Fair.

The group made decisions about which day to volunteer at Marion Food Bank. We had discussion on the November 4-H Achievement Dinner, National 4-H week celebration, and starting new project books.

Project books for the previous year were handed in to the Marion 4-H office.

After the meeting, 4-Hers took pictures with a 4-H photo frame to put in their new project books.

In addition, they played a game called “Minute to Win It,” sponsored by Bethany Carlson. After the game, the Engler and Kaiser families provided refreshments.

The next meeting will be 6 p.m. Nov. 13.
