The 50th wedding anniversary of Larry and Ruth (Reith) Lange of Marion will be celebrated at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at Our Savior Lutheran Church Hall in Marion.

Married Aug. 28, 1966, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Linn, the Langes have lived in Marion for 46 years. Larry worked for Kansas Department of Transportaion, retiring in 1999, and Ruth retired from the county clerk’s office in 2010.

Hosts for the reception will be their children, Rick Lange of Marion and Sherry Jones and husband, Jason, of Fair Grove, Missouri, and grandchildren Robert, Ryan, and Emily Jones and Brandon Lange.
