IN MEMORIAM:   Keith Wattson

Keith Henrichs Wattson, 66, of Peabody, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2017. A funeral service was held March 31, 2017, at United Methodist Church in Peabody, with burial at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, Kansas.

Keith was born June 5, 1950, to father, Robert Kean Wattson, Jr. and mother, Velda Ellene Henrichs in Fargo, North Dakota. He grew up in Wichita, Kansas. On June 14, 1974, Keith was married to Peggy L. Ussery, who survives.

Keith also is survived by three daughters: Heather Crocker and husband, Michael, of Hesston, and granddaughter Gracelynn, along with four step-grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren; Rachel Wattson of Wellington; and Cameo Stewart and husband, Isaac, of Peabody, and granddaughter, Kiah. Other survivors include: brothers Robert Wattson and wife, Dana, of Wichita, Kansas, and Bruce Wattson of Eugene, Oregon; sisters Elsie Wattson Lamb of Bellingham Washington, and Meredith Lowry and husband, Tom of Springfield, Missouri; and sister-in-law Floyce Wattson of Wichita, Kansas.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Velda, his father, Robert, and his brother, Vincent Wattson.

Keith was employed for 33 years at AGCO in Hesston, Kansas, and was co-owner, with Peggy, of Cameo Rose Antiques in Peabody for 15 years. He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes, collecting and repairing antique clocks, reading Tom Clancy books, growing various flowers and plants, and singing in the church choir.
