John Robert “Bob” Goodin, 63, Leawood, died Friday.

A memorial service was Tuesday at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.

He was born Oct. 26, 1952, to Sam and Nora (Blanken) Goodin. He graduated from Clay Center High School and attended Beloit Vo-Tech.

He lived in Marion for 16 years, then moved to Wamego, then Overland Park.

He worked for Farmland Industries as a truck driver and dispatcher from the mid 1980s to 2000, then for Crosslines Food Kitchen and Pantry and GasMart USA.

Bob is survived by his parents; wife, Debbie Delfosse Goodin; children, Renee Elliot, Jason Goodin, Sarah Goodin, and Lane Goodin; siblings, Andrea Ewert, Diane Novak, and Kay Markey; and four grandchildren.
