Howard Savage

Howard Savage, 71, died Sunday near his home west of Florence.

Born Sept. 19, 1944, in Marion, he graduated Florence High School and Emporia State.

He was a caregiver for his mother, Alta Mae Salvage of Florence, who survives him. Other survivors include brothers Brad of Peabody, Ray of Burns, and Rex, Randy, and Ron, all of Florence.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Grace.

An inurnment service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
