CLUB NOTES

Happy Hustlers

Twenty members, six leaders, seven parents, and one guest attended Happy Hustlers 4-H Club’s meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 2 at Marion Christian Church.

Members who bought club shirts were told to bring payment at the next meeting, Feb. 6 at the church.

Marsha Meyer talked about club evaluations and reminded member to register by Jan. 20 for Club Day, scheduled for Feb. 4.

A note from Marion City Library thanking the club for a plate of cookies was read.

Tristan Williams gave a talk on rabbit showmanship and Paige Ensey led the group in singing “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” Lane Watkins led the club in a rock, paper, scissors contest.

Cassie Meyer will give a talk at the next meeting, and the Groening and Guetterman families will furnish refreshments.
