happy hustlers

At a Happy Hustlers 4-H meeting Nov. 7 at Marion Christian Church, 25 members, five leaders, eight parents, and three guests answered “What is your favorite thing to eat at Thanksgiving?” for roll call

Corin Parmley gave the treasurer’s report and told the club that the balance was $1,603.52.

A gift exchange will be at the next meeting with a $7 limit. Attendees are asked to bring a gift according to age group and gender.

Rope Uhl and Peyton Ensey gave a talk about shooting sports.

Sara Groening and Paige Ensey led the club in birthday and “The Little Pilgrims” songs. The Nelson family served refreshments.

The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Marion Christian Church to go caroling at St. Luke Living Center and Marion Assisted Living.

Each family is asked to bring two dozen cookies for thank you gifts for our community, and two pieces of fruit for fruit baskets for the living centers.
