Groups celebrate 3 birthdays
Marion Senior Center
Two birthday groups were at the senior center July 10. John Kline had three tables of high school classmates and their spouses and provided ice cream treats. A group from Aulne United Methodist Church also came to honor the birthdays of Clifford Hett and Deana Olson.
Senior center site managers from throughout the county also met that day to share statistics and program ideas.
Bob Crawford, one of the center’s meals-on-wheels delivery people, grilled hamburgers July 11 because normal grillmaster Harlow Warneke is taking July off.
Rivercross Hospice of Wichita presented a program that day.
Ed Riffel will grill hamburgers for a “makeup” meal Saturday. An ice cream social is planned as a fundraiser Sunday.
Dawn Miller will present a program July 25 entitled “Managing Pain as You Age.”
