Got a 100-year-old farm? Talk to KFB

Kansas Farm Bureau is launching its 15th year of a program to honor family farms that have remained in a family for more than a century.

A family farm whose current owner/operator is related to the owner/operator in 1917 qualifies for the award.

Qualifying farms receive a farm sign designating “Century Farm” status by KFB.

The application deadline is May 15. Complete details and an application form can be obtained at the Marion County Farm Bureau office in Marion or on the KFB web site: www.kfb.org/Get-Involved/Century-Farm-Program.
