Galen Peterson

Galen Douglas Peterson, 72, died May 4 at St. Luke Hospital.

Funeral service was Monday at Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick, with a burial following at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.

He was born March 24, 1944, to Norman F. and Edna A. (Rindt) Peterson of Lost Springs. He was a graduate of Centre High School.

He married Janis T. Taylor on Oct. 23, 1993, at Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was a cattle rancher, and owned and operated Herington Sale Barn from 1985 to 1993.

He was a lifetime member of the Emporia Lodge, A.F. and A.M.

Survivors include wife Janis of Burdick; son Ty Peterson of Tampa; daughter Trisha Ohnemiller of Caldwell; sister Gloria Martin of Lost Springs; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hebron Lutheran Church.
