nov. 12

7:28 a.m. — A 86-year-old man who would not wake up at Marion Assisted Living, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

11:22 a.m. — Durham firefighters were called to a grass fire near K-15 and 250th Rd.

12:47 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called to Marion and Wheat Sts., for a gas meter that was hit by a vehicle.

wednesday

10:21 a.m. — A man who fell and was struggling to breathe in the 100 block of W. 6th St., Peabody. He was deceased. Peabody firefighters and Marion ambulance were also on scene to help with CPR.

12:49 p.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:22 p.m. — Tampa firefighters were called to the 400 block of Main St., Tampa for a home that was filling up with smoke when they turned the heater on.

5:45 p.m. — A man who was not feeling well in the 200 block of N. Freeborn St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

6:21 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

thursday

7:31 a.m. — A resident with high blood pressure and was very sleepy at Bethesda Home in Goessel, was taken to Moundridge Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:37 p.m. — Burns, Florence and Peabody firefighters were called to a grass fire in the 100 block of Locust St., Peabody.

friday

12:55 a.m. — Marion ambulance and firefighters were called to a car rollover, and deer accident near 170th Rd., and US-77. No one was taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:36 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a grass fire near 140th and Holly Rds.

11:58 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley by Marion ambulance.

12:30 p.m. — A resident who had pushed his medical alarm in the 500 block of S. Cedar St., Marion, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:49 p.m. — A 14-year-old girl who was hyperventilating in the 500 block of S. Cedar St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:54 p.m. — An elderly man who had his hand smashed in a car hood near 110th and Alamo Rds., refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance. A Goessel first responder was also on scene.

4:13 p.m. — A 65-year-old woman who fell in the 700 block of N. Locust St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

7:40 p.m. — A 13-year-old girl who had taken a bottle of pills in the 100 block of Church Ave., Burns, was taken to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado by Florence ambulance.

saturday

2:02 a.m. — A man having a heart attack in the 300 block of Roosevelt St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

1:10 p.m. — A resident at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, who had doctor’s orders to be taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:15 p.m. — Peabody and Hillsboro firefighters were called to assist Walton firefighters with a grass fire in Harvey County.

6:32 p.m. — A patient from Newton Medical Center was transferred to Parkside Homes in Hillsboro by Hillsboro ambulance.

sunday

12:07 a.m. — Goessel first responders and firefighters, and Hillsboro ambulance were called to a one-vehicle injury accident near K-15 and 90ths Rd. One person was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:53 a.m. — An 83-year-old woman who was having difficulty walking from a earlier fall in the 500 block of Norwood, St., Peabody, was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

12:15 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were requested by Walton firefighters to help with a grass fire that had rekindled from Saturday.

monday

4:44 a.m. — A Goessel firefighter called in a grass fire over his fire radio due to power outage and poor cell phone reception near Falcon and 110th Rds. Goessel firefighters were called to the fire.

10:19 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

12:56 p.m. — A resident who fell at Peabody Health and Rehab, was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

3:33 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a grass fire near Sunflower and 80th Rds. No fire was found.

4:12 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

6:06 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

7:08 p.m. — Florence, Peabody and Hillsboro ambulances, and Florence firefighters and rescue were called to a two-vehicle injury accident near US-77 and Wagonwheel Rd. One person was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance, and the other refused to be taken to a hospital.
