Aug. 13

1:54 a.m. — A person with a possible snake bite in the 100 block of N. Roosevelt St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

8:47 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a smoke alarm at Tabor College in Harms Hall. Firefighters returned to the station, as it was a malfunction.

8:47 a.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to the area near US-77 and 250th Rd., for hazmat spill on the road, were soon canceled as it was being cleaned up.

6:28 p.m. — An 80-year-old man whose knees gave out in the 300 block of N. Walnut St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

6:36 p.m. — A 59-year-old man who was having difficulty breathing near Nighthawk and 200th Rd., was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

Wednesday

1:43 p.m. — Officer requested Hillsboro ambulance for a 72-year-old woman who fell in a non- air-conditioned house in the 600 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro. She was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

6:00 p.m. — A 68-year-old man who feels funny, though he has the flu in the 600 block of west Division St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody Ambulance.

8:53 p.m. — A 79-year-old woman who was feeling very ill in the 700 block of south Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

thursday

9:51 a.m. — An elderly man who fell and was bleeding in the 1500 block of Main St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

10:39 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was take by Marion ambulance to Newton Med.

7:52 p.m. — A 26-year-old man who was having chest pains at the Tabor College football field in Hillsboro was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:00 p.m. — A woman who was highly intoxicated dropped a phone on her face was her lip was bleeding badly, in the 500 block of W. Grand St., Hillsboro. She was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance.

11:49 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred by Marion ambulance to St. Francis, Wichita.

friday

11:49 a.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a fire alarm in the 400 block of N. Locust in Peabody. It was a false alarm.

1:20 p.m. — A 64-year-old who hurt her arm from a fall in the 200 block of N. Coble St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

1:38 p.m. — A 50-year-old man who was unconscious but breathing near 50th Rd. and US-77, was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance. Peabody ambulance and the emergency medical director also responded.

3:04 p.m. — A HCH patient was transferred by Marion ambulance to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

8:29 p.m. — A HCH patient was transferred by Hillsboro ambulance to Hutchinson Regional Hospital.

saturday

8:19 a.m. — A 62-year-old woman who was having chest pains in the 400 block of N. Walnut St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical by Peabody ambulance.

2:35 p.m. — A 71-year-old man who was having trouble breathing near 50th and Clover Rds., was taken to Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance. A Burn first responder was also on scene.

sunday

12:22 a.m. — A resident who became dehydrated at Salem Home in Hillsboro was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:42 a.m. — A 58-year-old woman found unconscious but breathing in the 500 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:31 a.m. — A diabetic man who was unresponsive in the 900 block of Denver St., Marion, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

8:31 p.m. — A person who fell off a ladder was taken by car to St. Luke and staff requested Marion ambulance to help get the patient out of the vehicle. The patient was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

9:17 p.m. — A 96-year-old woman who was having a nose bleed near 250th and Old Mill Rds., was taken to HCH by Tampa ambulance.

monday

12:14 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

1:42 p.m. — A woman who had a nose bleed that would not stop at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:35 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:13 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.
