According to fire and ambulance transmissions monitored by the newspaper:

Sept. 6

12:28 a.m. — Marion and Hillsboro ambulances responded to the jail in Marion for an unspecified reason. A person was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

9:59 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Marion fire responded to N. Jefferson St. for an unspecified situation involving a man in his 70s.

3:14 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a call for a man in his 30s who was suffering from arm and neck pain after a fall. He was transported to Newton Medical Center.

SEpt. 7

6:17 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 300 block of W. 2nd St. for a man in his 50s who was not feeling well. He was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

10:48 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the science building at Tabor College for a woman having chest pains. She was transported to HCH.

1:18 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 400 block of S. Maple St. for an accident.

7:21 p.m. — Tampa ambulance transferred a person from St. Luke to Via Christi — St. Francis, Wichita.

8:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to St. Luke for a report of a “grandmother with her granddaughter who was unresponsive.” She was transported to Newton Medical.

Thursday

2:07 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of S. Adams St. for an elderly man who had collapsed and was vomiting. He was transported to HCH, and Hillsboro fire provided lifting assistance.

9:53 p.m. — Tampa ambulance, Tampa fire, and Hillsboro rescue responded one mile south of Tampa on Limestone Rd. for a person who had rolled a vehicle into high water.

friday

10:09 a.m. — Goessel first response and Hillsboro ambulance responded to Bethesda Homes after a man had fallen out of his wheelchair. He was transported to Newton Medical.

7:20 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of N. Cedar St. in Marion for a one-vehicle injury accident. No transportation was provided.

SATURDAY

12:27 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who felt like she was going to pass out from the 700 block of E. 1st St. to HCH.

6:28 p.m. — Lost Springs fire responded to US-77 across from Centre High School for a grass fire.

8 p.m. — Ramona fire was called to Pawnee Rd. between 350th and 360th Rds. for a report of a fire alarm going off, but was then dismissed when it was discovered to be a false alarm.

SUNDAY

2:01 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of W. Grand St. for a life alert button that was pressed.

monday

11:17 a.m. — Florence fire responded to a report of smoke in the area of 7th St. Dispatch then received a call from a resident saying he was running a smoker.

11:34 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Ash St. for a woman in her 90s who was feeling dizzy. She was transported to HCH.

11:59 a.m. — Florence ambulance and Marion ambulance as first response was called to west of Florence on US-50 for a woman who was having a seizure. No transportation was provided.

6:01 p.m. — Burns first response and Florence ambulance responded to the 400 block of Vista Rd. for a woman who was on dialysis and needed assistance getting from the car to her house.

7 p.m. — Tampa ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.
